Day 7 - Coca Cola

On Tuesday 8th April, 1 of the 2 places we visited, was  a very popular factory and company. This company created one of the most popular drinks, everyone knows it... Coke. Yeah, that's right, we went to the Coca-Cola factory/company.

And Coca Cola was at walking distance, we set on our journey time later and our walk was approximately 10 minutes this morning to the factory.

When we got there, we went into a big room that was decorated with and was used to display different of the company's oldest to recent commercial posters used around the world. Alongside things they used to just advertise them in general. We saw the different logos of Coca Cola from places like Germany, America and etc , as we were listening to our tour guide which told us that Coca- Cola was originally made as a medicine and was sold for about 10p , the whole idea was created by John Pemberton who was originally a Doctor and apparently he fought in the Civil War and at the end he needed something to bring him commercial success.
While looking at these posters and props, we listened some quick facts:
*The company has made 64 types of drinks to be exact with flavors that vary.
*They have the posters in 19 languages with over 20 countries representing.
*May 8th,1886, Atlanta Pharmacist, John Pemberton introduced a beverage called Coca-Cola to the world.

After our lecture about how Coca Cola was created , after this we went to see a movie that had arrived a week before called ' Our Happy Moments' this movie showed us how Coca Cola can help people achieve what they want in life and to top it off they showed us how they achieved it with the help of Coca Cola. Then we exited the room just to find a huge and realistic bear that we had to take pictures with (it was frightening at first).
We then entered a room after playing a game. We were told that it was the Chamber of the Secret Formula. Sadly, the secret formula is the heart of Coca-Cola and we could not be told. Although we saw the locked door in which it was hidden behind.
This fantastic visit was ended so well because we got to taste all 65 of the drinks created by the Coca-Cola Company :)
