On the 9th of April 2014, we had a 2 in 1 fun experience by going to two well-known places in Atlanta, Georgia : Atlanta Zoo and, drumroll please...! Six Flags!!!
First off, we ate breakfast at our new hotel, Holiday Inn and filled ourselves to the brim.
Afterwards, we went on a very short bus ride to Atlanta Zoo...what a way to start our day- with nature! We saw pictures from little naked mole rats to big lions and tigers!
We saw other animals such as elephants, snakes, lizards, monkeys, gorillas, kangaroos and so much more! We also saw so many animals that I honestly didn't even know existed till I actually saw them e.g bongos
What I loved about the zoo was that we had the opportunity to actually go around the zoo ourselves and EXPLORE! And we went to different places of our choice and finally met again at a particular point.
The zoo was divided into sections such as African plains, Asian forest, world of reptiles and kids zone. in the African plains we saw animals such as the great lions, giant elephant, dangerous rhinos and such animals you would find in Africa.
NOTE: PICTURE HEAVY POST.
In the Asian rainforest there were orangutans and different coloured birds. We also managed to find a rare red panda and a tiger.
In the world of reptiles there were great snakes and lizards such as a Komodo dragon and anacondas, there was a really Long snake called the blood python
The African plains was highly fascinating to me (Ephraim). Animals present where rhinos, an elephant, flamingoes and even a lioness and her cubs.
Last of all there was the kids zone which had the kangaroos and various animals. This part of the zoo was created for the sake of children so they could understand and play in that area. All in all the zoo was an impressive attraction for us and we wouldn't mind going a second time.
Afterwards, we had our REAL FUN! We went to Six Flags and had so much fun that we were too occupied to take pictures and also for our safety, as we were going on very scary rides BUT...Hey...It's all about having fun, RIGHT?
